Edna Mae Barnett long time resident of Dewar lost her battle with lung cancer in her home surrounded by the love of close friends and family on July 6, 2011 at 2:20 pm. She was born in Ryal, OK on July 21, 1937 to Nora (Brison) Winn and Earnest Winn. Edna Mae was a retired County Assessor of Okmulgee County. She worked for 27 years in county government serving the public. Edna Mae is survived by her husband Troy E. Barnett of the home Two daughters Troy Lynn Brownlee and husband Darrel K. Brownlee of Saginaw, TX Norma Jean Barnett of Bella Vista, AK. She also is survived by two grandsons Darrel Anthony Brownlee of the home, Kevin Andrew Brownlee and wife Lauren Brownlee of Roanoke, TX. As well as a host of friends and other relatives. Edna Mae's love in life was helping her family and people. She was an avid crappie fisherman and loved the outdoors. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Memorials may be made to the Tulledega Masonic Lodge Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society. No services are planned
