Edna Faye Harbuck

Shurden Funeral Home 411 West Division Street Henryetta, OK 74437 (918) 652-4461 Fax (918) 652-4451 Edna Faye Harbuck, a longtime resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Henryetta at the age of 84. Edna was born on November 24, 1927 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Oscar Samuel Martin and Belva Carlisle Martin. Edna grew up in the Dustin area and attended school there and at Graham. She graduated from Graham High School. Following high school, Edna moved to the Henryetta area where she lived most of her adult life. Edna was married to Homer Lee Robison in Dustin in 1945 and they remained married until his death. She later married A.E. Harbuck in Okmulgee, OK on January 7, 1977. She worked as a nurse in nursing homes where she dispensed medications and provided care to the residents. She will be remembered as a good nurse and a kind, gentle and caring person. Edna is preceded in death by her mother and father; her first husband Homer Lee Robison who died in 1976; 3 brothers, Perry Martin, Carl Martin, and Bud Martin; and by four sisters, Lorene Matthews, Flora Mayes, Ellen Hardy, and Geneva Woods. She is survived by two sons, Samuel Robison and wife Veronica of Henryetta and Perry Robison of Henryetta; by 8 grandchildren; and by one sister, Katherine of Luther, Oklahoma. Viewing and visitation for Edna will be held at Shurden Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 20 from 11am until 8pm. Graveside services for Edna will be held at Dustin Cemetery on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00am. with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow the service immediately under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
