Edward Lee Robertson

DUE TO WEATHER THE SERVICE PLACE HAS BEEN CHANGED.... Edward Lee Robertson, a resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Muskogee at the age of 47 years. Edward was born on May 3, 1967 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Richard Bill Robertson and Yvonne Carter Robertson. Edward grew up in the Oklahoma City area and graduated from Douglas High School. Following high school, Edward joined the U.S. Navy. Edward faithfully served in the Navy for 16 years, including Desert Storm, before his honorable medical discharge in 2003. Edward spent the last four years working with VAM Drilling Company in Muskogee as a pipe fitter. Edward married the love of his life, Helena Scarberry on December 19, 1990 in Norfolk, Virginia. They remained married for 23 years until his death. He is preceded in death by his mother and his father. Edward is survived by his wife, Helena Robertson, of the home in Muskogee; two sisters, Judy Flores of San Antonio, TX and Cindy Free of Pawhuska, OK; 3 nephews, David Ellis and James Ellis, both of Kingston, OK and Austin Ballenger of Norman, OK; 1 great nephew, Aaron Ellis of Kingston, OK and three great nieces, Sadie Ellis, Taylor Ellis, and Brinnley Ellis of Kingston, OK; his two beloved dogs, Sassy and Buck; by numerous other extended family and many good friends. The family has designated the Robertson Family Cemetery Trust , P.O. box 826, Pawhuska, OK 74056 as appropriate for memorial contributions Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 2:00pm at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with John Free officiating. Interment will follow at the Robertson Family Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy. Pallbearers will be David Ellis, James Ellis, Austin Ballenger, Doug Sage, Chris Durley, Timothy Robertson, and Carlos Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Tiger and Robert Paul Robertson.
