Elizabeth Ann Taylor,73, a resident of Weleetka, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 17th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elizabeth was born May 13th, 1951 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Dorothy Dean (James) and Eddie Robert Fish.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Bryan Taylor Jr., and sister, Loretta Sue Parks.

Although born in Henryetta, Elizabeth spent her school years living in Carlsbad, New Mexico where her father worked in the potash mines. While living in Carlsbad Elizabeth met her future husband Larry who was in the Navy. They would marry on December 31, 1968 in rural Oklahoma at Aztec Church. Elizabeth's family moved back to Oklahoma and when Larry returned he and Elizabeth lived in New Mexico for a short time. They returned to Oklahoma to attend a family funeral. They were told about some property where Elizabeth and Larry would make their home until her passing. Elizabeth and Larry would spend 55 years of marriage together.

Elizabeth loved gardening, whether it be houseplants, yard flowers, or vegetables. She would even stop on the side of the road with her daughters and dig wildflowers from the side of the road.
Elizabeth loved her children, her family and had a soft spot for children. She supported St. Jude's Children's Hospital for many years. Elizabeth spent many hours with her grandchildren, all who deeply loved her, fishing down at the pond and roasting hotdogs. She loved to tell her grandchildren stories of her culture and childhood.

Elizabeth is described as a headstrong (by Larry) and always running tardy. The clock never mattered to her, she ran on her own clock and was she nicknamed "Mahaley" after an aunt who was also always running late. Elizabeth's daughter's have many fond memories of mama. Sarah would twirl mama's hair as while repeating meow, meow, meow. Sharon appreciated her mother's diligence as a mother who was always up early ready for coffee dates. Both girls requesting dad brush their hair as mama pulled a little to tight.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Larry, of the home, her daughters, Sharon Corley & husband Jimmy, & Sarah Osborn;
Her siblings, Eddie Fish, Jr. & wife Rita; Darlene Hames, Fee-Bee Byrd & husband Larry;
Her grandchildren, Joseph Craig, Tyler Craig, Katelynn Craig, Bridgett Arnhart, Natalee Pak, McKenzie Grauberger, & Alyssa Grauberger;
Her great grandchildren, Damen Baker, Joel Craig II, Noah Pak, & Nixon Pack.

Viewing will be from noon until service time.

Pallbearers will be, John Taylor, Eddie Mitchell Fish, Jimmy Corley, Tyler Craig, Joseph Craig, & Jay James.

Celebration of Life Dinner at Pharoah Baptist Church at noon Wednesday, June 19th, 2024.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Dale Litsey officiating. Interment will follow in Fish Family Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
