Ellen Bea Garza

Ellen Bea Garza, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on Friday, July 5, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 69. Ellen was born on September 25, 1943 at Tiger Mountain, Oklahoma to George W. Francis and Mary Wacoche Francis. Ellen met her husband and left Pierce, Oklahoma in 1973. They moved to Kansas, where they lived for approximately 20 years. While in Kansas, Ellen worked in Wichita and Eldorado, Kansas nursing homes as a housekeeper. Ellen is preceded in death by her mother and father, 3 brothers, a nephew, and her husband. She is survived by 3 sons, Michael Francis and wife Monique of Claremore, Simon Garza of Wichita, KS, and Calvin Garza of Orlando, Florida; 3 daughters, Brenda Garza and husband Caleb of Okmulgee, JoAnn Fortier of Aurora, CO, and April Lynn Garza of Wichita, KS; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Vanbuskirk of Claremore; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Leah Edmondson of Bristow, OK, Liza Shaver and husband Earl of Claremore, and Rachel Richardson and husband of California; 2 brothers, Robert Francis and wife Daisey of Claremore, and Jeff Francis of Checotah; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. A wake service will be held at Silver Spring Baptist Church in Tiger Mountain, OK on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Silver Spring Baptist Church in Tiger Mountain with Rev. A.J. Tiger officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Silver Spring Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Earl Shauer, Rusty Edmondson, Terry Francis, Caleb Garza, Steve Burkes, and Jeffery Francis. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8pm and on Wednesday from 8am until 3pm.
