Eunice H Vanmeter

Eunice VanMeter, a former resident of Henryetta, passed away, Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Kannapolis, North Carolina at the age of 83.Eunice was born in Garland, Arkansas, March 24, 1927 to George Wright and Cordia Cooley Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and a sister. Also preceding her in death was her husband Bobby E Hamilton and Robert Van Meter and a son, Bobby Joe Hamilton. She leaves behind, her children, Donna Blake and husband Don, of Kannapolis, NC., Peggy Lalo and her husband Lail, of Shawnee, Okla., Nova Jean Potter and her husband Lowell of Mesquite, Nevada. Sons, Anthony Hamilton of Kannapolis, NC and Antonio Hamilton of Texas. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren who knew her as Ganny. She is also survived by her sisters Jean Owens, Shirley Taylor and her husband Richard and one brother Bobby Wright and his wife Twilla. Eunice was living with Don and Donna in Kannapolis, NC. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she had many friends who adored her sweet spirit. She worked as a waitress until her retirement. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Westlawn Cemetery with Don Blake, officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
