Ewing Oscar Martin

Ewing Oscar "Nub" Martin, a resident of Henryetta, passed away September 17, 2016 in Henryetta, at the age of 79. He was born Saturday, August 7, 1937 in Cave City, Arkansas to Euin Martin & Florence (Garrett) Martin.

Ewing proudly served and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.. He was a graduate of OSU and worked as an electronics engineer for Leer Jet Field Service. He worked in many of their facilities including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
He married Janet Burnett September 21, 2001 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was a member of the Town & Country Christian Church in Okmulgee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jim Martin and Clyde Martin also by a great-granddaughter, Stevie Raelynn McBane.

Ewing is survived by his wife Janet of the home;
Four children: Angela Diane Franklin & husband James of Temple, Texas;
Ewing Garrett Martin of Henryetta;
Valerie Galvin of Henryetta;
Ronald E. Burnett & wife Dayna of Orange County, California;
Grandchildren: Patrick Franklin of Temple, Texas; Steven McBane & wife Jessica and children, Tyler, Addyson, & Shayne of Morris; Spencer Thompson wife Brandi and children, Belle & Alan of Henryetta; Michael, Matthew, & Meghan Burnett of Orange County, California; Also by the Burt Martin family of Henryetta; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Pastor Tim Reeves officiating and Eulogy by Dobie Butcher. Services are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
