Flora Louise "Wendy" Campbell, a resident of Henryetta, passed away March 23, 2020 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 82. She was born October 11, 1937 in Weleetka, OK to Elvin E.O. Ware & Myrtle (Wood) Ware.
She was a homemaker.
Flora was a published poet and was recognized and awarded the merit certificate from the World Of Poetry, she was also known locally for her poem on the Henryetta Dough Boy. She also was honored with the Golden Poet Award in 1987 for her poem "Roses".
She was a gifted artist, songwriter and singer.
Flora was a member of The New Covenant Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Gordon Campbell, second husband, Richard Glenn Wilder, two children, Karen Gay Campbell and Kevin Paul Campbell.
She is survived by four children, Kim Fowler & husband Dennis of Henryetta, OK, Kena Campbell & husband Eddie Holland of ND, Kristen Lay & husband Robert of Henryetta, OK, Jeremy Blake & wife Denise of Dewar, OK, stepchildren, Cathy Ritter & husband John of Henryetta, OK, Glenn Wilder Jr. & wife Dawn of Henryetta, OK, and Ann Wilder of Henryetta, OK and seven siblings, Gail Keys & husband James of Dustin, OK, Wayne Ware of TX, Barbara Mote & husband Tommy of Dustin, OK, Mary Collins of Henryetta, OK, Gary Ware of NE, Vicki Southern of Texas, and Terry Ware & wife Brenda of Henryetta, OK as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 2-5 pm in the Integrity Chapel on Wednesday, March 25, and from 9am - noon on Thursday.
Graveside services will be broadcast from the Integrity Funeral Service Facebook page on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 10AM.
