Fred Franklin Clayton, Born July 2, 1931 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Chloe Bell Brison Clayton and George Washington Clayton. He passed away on September 8, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years and 2 months. He was preceded in death by his mother Chloe Bell Brison Clayton and Father, George Washington Clayton. Fred married Neta Collins on December 17, 1949 in Corcoran, California. He harvested wheat and cotton most of his life and he truly loved team roping. Fred is survived by his wife Neta of the home, one daughter, Susan Medhat & husband Dawood of Beamont, Californina, two sons, Timothy Clayton and wife Debra from Elcentro, California, and Fred Clayton Jr. and wife Kay from Imperial, California, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, 5 sisters, Viola Carl of Sand Springs, Lorene Gragg of Phoenix, Arizona, Betty Whaley of San Jose, California, Tretha Werner of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Freda Smith & husband Charles of Dustin, Oklahoma, 2 brothers, Earl Ray Clayton and wife Marjorie of Tulare California, David Dale Clayton & wife Inez of Checotah, Oklahoma. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He will be missed very much, but not forgotten. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Dustin, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm with Rev. Randy Zinn officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Dustin Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
