Gary Allen Thomas, a former resident of Henryetta and currently of McAlester, Oklahoma, was born October 6, 1944 in Indianola, Oklahoma to James and Lennie (Epps) Thomas.

Gary passed away December 10th, 2014 in McAlester at the age of 70.

Gary attended school at Indianola and McAlester. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in McAlester. Gary worked with his parents at Medical Arts Building, retiring with them due to ill health.

He is survived by four sisters, Mary Lee Romine of McAlester, Oklahoma;
Alline Elliott of Moore, Oklahoma;
Willie Mae Salvatori & husband Robert of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania;
Jimmie Lou Busby and husband Velbert of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Nephews, Daryl Romine of Kiowa, Oklahoma;
Larry Elliott of Newalla, Oklahoma;
Dennis Elliott of Tuttle, Oklahoma;
Dr. Bob Salvatori of Bartlesville, Oklahoma;
John Salvatori of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania;
Michael Busby of Wilburton, Oklahoma;
Nieces: Marilyn Sonnier of Plano, Texas;
Brenda Elliott of Moore, Oklahoma;
He is also survived by several cousins, great nephews and neices and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew David Allen Busby, Sr. and great nephew Ethan Elliott, brothers in laws, Leon Romine & Gene Elliott.

A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester with Dr. Tim Russell of First Baptist Church in McAlester, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Daryl Romine, Larry Elliott, Dennis Elliott,
Dr. Bob Salvatori, John Salvatori, and Michael Busby.
