He was born Wednesday, July 9, 1947 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Don Russell & Louise (Artaz) Russell. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Don Russell, his 2 children, Lynn and Ronnie Russell, ex-wife, Betty Russell, sister Rose Smitz, and brother, Dale Russell. Gary is survived by his mother Louise Russell of Henryetta; brother Buddy Russell & wife Norma of Henryetta, nephew, Samuel-David Russell of Henryetta, nephew, Brian Terneuzen of Farmington, New Mexico, niece, Camie Johns of Aztec, New Mexico, and niece, Kelly Graham of Vernal, Utah.
