Gaynell Fields

Gaynell Fields, a resident of the Pleasant Valley community passed away Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 at her home at the age of 74. She was born June 5 1939 in Letcher, Kentucky to Bert Sparks and Melda (Gent) Sparks. She married Edward Fields November 7, 1959 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a member of Schulter Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Edward of the home; Five children: Eddie Fields & wife Lynn of Newport News, Virginia; Connie Fowler & husband Tim of Salem; Darlene Underhill & husband Kevin of Salem; Mark Fields & wife Kim of Henryetta; Debbie Howk & husband Lorne of Morris; Fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Also by a host friends and other relatives. Viewing will be held from 2pm-6pm on Sunday, March 9 for the public. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10:00am at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Pitman & Rev. Phil Barton, officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Eric Fowler, Michael Fields, Shaun Fields, Russell Fields, Dillon Howk, Michael Gilroy, Clark Christy, Nathan Kuykendall, and shane Treagesser.
