Geneva Sue B. Harjo

Geneva Sue B. Harjo, 73 of Henryetta, Oklahoma was born on December 28, 1949 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital to Henry Louis and Christine Ella (Berryhill) Harjo.

Geneva married Sam (Snake) B. Harjo on March 17, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Geneva graduated from Green Country Vo-Tech in 1997 with a degree in nursing. She was an LPN at Leisure Manor Nursing Home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the Creek Nation Hospital in Okemah until 2001. Geneva enjoyed playing bingo shooting pool, watching her grandkids play ball and taking long road trips. She left this world to be with her loving husband, March 14, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her husband, infant child, Christa, parents, and a brother, Henry Harjo.

She is survived by sons, Paul Pahos B. Harjo, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Thomas Wayne B. Harjo and wife Raylene, of Wilson, Oklahoma, and Sam B. Harjo, Jr. and wife Keri, of Choctaw, Oklahoma; daughters, Jennifer Louise Edwards, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Marsha Lynn Tom and husband Kelly, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Sarah Darlene Bear, of Glenpool, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael Seth, MaeKayla Sue, Taylor Lynn, Trista Lynn, Madison Cade, Hannah Meske, Joseph Siah, Lillian Geneva, Nathan Perry, Kyle Samson, Nakoa Christine, Daniel Christopher, Keilei Shylain, Kiahna Darlene, Angel Leonette, Marah Sue and Domenico Romello and 12 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Harjo Family Cemetery in the Wilson Community with Reverend Wallace Gambler officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Edwards, Michael Seth B. Harjo, Nathan Perry B. Harjo, Kyle Samson B. Harjo, Austin Roy B. Harjo and Rayne Oske Harjo and Nico Edwards.
