Georgia Edith Dickey

Georgia Edith Dickey, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 91. Georgia was born April 20, 1919 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Delaney Calvin and Edith Alice (Smith) Pendergrass. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer L. Dickey and her parents Delaney Calvin "Cal" Pendergrass and Edith Alice Pendergrass. Georgia was a member of the First Christian Church of Henryetta, Past President of the Henryetta VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 175. She is survived by one son, Dale Dickey & wife Joan of Henryetta Grandson, Michael Dickey & wife Heather of Henryetta Granddaughter, Brandy Cunningham & husband Bryan of Henryetta Eight great grandchildren as well as a host of friends and other relatives. Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge. Honorary pallbearers will be the Order of the Eastern Star. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Tulledega Masonic Lodge Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 956, Henryetta, Oklahoma, 74437. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Kris Denning, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
