Georgia Lee Dodge

Georgia Lee Dodge a former longtime Henryetta resident passed away Friday, November 7th, 2014 in Okmulgee at the age of 95. She was born March 22, 1919 in Henryetta to C. B. Boyd and Levona (Vaughn) Boyd. She married Nugent Dodge July 3, 1936 in Henryetta. Georgia worked at Henryetta Furniture for many years as well as the Health Department. She was a member of Grace Cathedral of Muskogee. She is preceded in death by her parents, C. B. and Levona Boyd, her husband Nugent Dodge, one brother, Ben Boyd, five sisters, Jewell Hayes, Ruby Feeback, Opal Brison, Helen Perryman and Geneva Parton. She is survived by one daughter, Jean LeGrand of Okmulgee; Three grandchildren, Mike LeGrand and wife Deanne of Okmulgee; Matt LeGrand and Mary LeGrand both of Okmulgee; Seven Great Grandchildren; As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Viewing will be on Sunday from 1 - 8 pm with the family present to greet friends. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
