Gerald Wayne Smith a longtime resident of Henryetta was born March 14, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Marie (Haynes) Smith & Fred Smith. He passed away, Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 60. Gerald married Linda Deckard, April 13, 1990 in Dewar. He was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Smith, 3 brothers, Willis Smith, Troy Smith, & Robert Smith. 4 sisters, Rita Walters, Pauline Maxwell, Brenda Smith & Retha Sisney. Gerald is survived by his wife Linda of the home 4 children: Sha Non Solberg & husband Richie of Keller, Texas Kaylea Ammann & husband Adam of Tulsa Kyla Chacon & husband Grant of Henryetta Krista Smith of the home 6 grandchildren: Miki, Nitzana, Nasya, Brayden, Isaac & Ami Mother: Marie Conley of Henryetta 2 brothers: Donnie Smith & wife Paula of Dewar Junior Smith & wife Janie of Tulsa 1 sister: Wilma Jane Henderson & husband Harold of Graham Nieces, Brandis Fish & Katie Boutwell Nephews: Nathan & Aaron Smith Mother-in-law: Josephine Claborn of Dewar As well as a host of friends and other relatives. Pallbearers will be, Eric Cunningham, William Harjo, Aaron Tecumseh, Nick Baker, Aaron Smith, & Bruce Smith Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
