Gladys Mildred Roberts

Gladys Mildred Roberts, a longtime resident of Dewar was born January 1, 1917 in St. Joe, Arkansas to Edward Phillips and Mae (McFarland) Phillips. She passed away October 13, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 93. She was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Roberts, a son Cornell Roberts, as well as five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Thelma Park of Checotah, One son, Don Roberts & wife Judy of Burkburnett, Texas, Daughter-in-law, Frances Roberts of Dewar, Eight grandchildren, Jackie Park & wife Shirley of Irving, Texas, Brenda Nelson & husband Bob of Royce City, Texas, Rita Struble & husband Mike of Bixby, Donnie Roberts of McKinney, Texas, Danny Roberts of Whitesboro, Texas, Cyndy Roberts of McKinney, Texas, Carla Roberts of Dewar, Connie Roberts of Dewar, Ten Great Grandchildren, Five Great Great Grandchildren, As well as a host of friends and other family Pallbearers will be Mike Deckard, Jerry Deckard, Billy Spurlock, Ralph Thompson, Bob Britt, & Dee Taber. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
