Glen Gethon Bardin, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 in Okemah, OK at the age of 75. He was born October 21, 1937 in Tiger Mountain, OK to Virgil Bardin & Nona Jewell (Calvert) Bardin.

Glen was a graduate of Dewar High School with the class of 1955. He married Wanda Sue Dickey on February 28, 1958 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Glen worked nineteen and1/2 years for PPG and later retired from KELCO after nineteen years. He and Wanda then owned and operated Supertire in Henryetta for fifteen years . He was a cattle rancher and an avid gardener. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Nona Bardin, also by an infant brother, Gerald Bardin.

Glen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda Bardin of the home,
Five children, Glenda Sue Bardin & James Smith of Dewar;
Gayla Marie Ledbetter & husband Chris of Morris;
Gary Gethon Bardin & wife Carol of Morris;
Gina Elizabeth Scott & husband Larry of Oklahoma City;
Gerald Kent Bardin of Wetumka,
Fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren;
Three sisters, Joyce Kile & husband Otis of Dewar;
Frances Jones & husband Jimmie of Wilson;
Mayoma Henshaw & husband Les of Okemah;
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Wesley Bardin, Blake Bardin, Chad Ledbetter, Robbie Sisson, Zach Stanley, and Zane Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Roberds, Travis Buoy, Bob Britt, Rusty Johnson, Chase Foutch, Chris Ledbetter, Eugene Hensley and Larry Scott.

Viewing will be from 12-8 pm on Sunday, and from 8am - 8pm on Monday at Integrity Funeral Service. The family will greet friends at Integrity Funeral Service, Monday evening from 6 - 8 pm.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin, officiating , assisted by Rev. Gregg Joki, and Eulogy by Greg Jones. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
