Glenda Ruth Combs

Glenda Ruth Combs, a lifetime resident of rural Henryetta, passed away Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at her home at the age of 67. Glenda was born October 19, 1945 in Henryetta to Walter Tweedy and Leona (Blake) Tweedy. She married Carloss E. Combs July 31, 1962 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She worked for many years as a provider and a full time housewife and mother. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Leona Tweedy, also by a sister Ramona Ann Tweedy. She is survived by her husband Carloss Combs of the home; One son, Ricky Combs and wife Sandra of Kellyville; One daughter, Carla Hall and husband Larry of Dewar; Three grandchildren, Ashley Blackwell, Russell Williams, & Paden Hall all of Dewar; One great-grandchild, Bosstyn Birdtail also of Dewar; One brother, Dewayne Tweedy and wife Debby of Bixby; Also by a host of friends and other relatives. Viewing and visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2013 from 4 - 8pm and will resume Tuesday from 8am - 8pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
