Gloria Nannette Gilroy

Gloria Nannette Gilroy, a longtime resident of the Wilson area, died Monday, February 8, 2010 in Okmulgee at the age of 74. She was born March 10, 1935 in Palacios, Texas to Ellis Jensen and Ethel (Harbison) Jensen. She was a member of the Wilson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Ethel Jensen 2 brothers, Bernard Jenson, and Ellis Jensen Jr., by one sister, Lida Tanton and by her husband, Harvey Gilroy Sr. She is survived by: 4 children, Brenda Buckley of Huntington Beach, California, Shane Doyle of California, Sarah Mayfield & husband Ronnie of Victoria, Texas, Mindy Hogan of Morris, Oklahoma, 3 step children, Harvey Gilroy Jr. of Okmulgee, Jody Gilroy & wife Lisa of Morris, Oklahoma, Mike Gilroy Sr. & wife Deanna of Henryetta, 15 grandchildren, Brandon Barbee, Bobby Buckley Jr., Aubrey Buckley, Jamie Mayfield, Alan Mayfield, Shanna, Shane Jr. and Shannell Doyle, Paige Pense, Brooklyn Hogan, Mike Jr., Cody, Colby, Trevor and Kennedie Gilroy, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Evelyn Loggins of Temple Texas, and Leona Alzner of Marble Falls, Texas, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Alan Mayfield, Shane Doyle Jr., Michael Gilroy Jr., Trevor Gilroy, Brandon Barbee, and Sidney Pillie. Honorary Pallbearers Fred Adams, Mike Gilroy, Jody Gilroy, and Pete Hogan. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Wilson Baptist Church in Wilson, Oklahoma. Interment will be in Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
