Goldie Doshier a resident of Okmulgee, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Henryetta at the age of 94. She was born, July 22, 1915 in LeRay, New York to Elliott Wagar & Lilly (Hamilton) Wagar and was of Scottish-Irish decent. Her great-grandfather was a lacemaker in Ireland and brought his family to Canada and then crossed into New York. She was raised on a dairy farm with her grandparents because her mother died of cancer when Goldie was 11 years old. She has resided in New York, California, Texas and Oklahoma. Goldie is preceded in death by husbands, William Kerstner, Francisco Rodrigues & Ray Doshier, 2 sons, Robert William Kerstner & Richard Jinan Kerstner, as well as a great granddaughter, Tesla Donn Applegate, 2 sons-in-law, Thomas Jefferson Masters & Edward Earl masters. Goldie gave her all for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was a very devoted Christian. She was a speed reader and loved to read books, especially the Bible. She is survived by: 1 daughter: Rise Masters-Baldwin & husband Tommy of Okmulgee Daughter in law: Suzanne of Santa Maria, California Grandchildren: Suzane Goldie Kerstner of Hawaii Michael of Santa Maria, California Sherry (Masters) Golden & husband Jerrell of Georgetown, Texas Shelby Masters Rakestraw & husband Chad of Henryetta, Oklahoma Shanda Masters of Waynesboro, TN Shane Masters & Kristen Webb of Henryetta, Oklahoma Ryan Masters of Henryetta, Ok Several more grandchildren on the east coast Great Grandchildren: Sandra, Matyson, Allysa, Cole & Cade of Georgetown, Texas, Jayden, Justus, Journey & Jenna of Schulter, Oklahoma, Madisyn & Jace of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Several more great grandchildren on the east & west coast Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2009 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will be in Old Ringold Cemetery, Little River, Oklahoma under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
