Harlin Nathaniel Durbin, Sr.

Harlin Nathaniel Durbin, Sr., a resident of Dewar, born June 7, 1921 in Oklahoma and passed away, Sunday, May 24, 2009 in Tulsa at the age of 87. A veteran of WWII, Harlin also worked at Eagle - Picher Smelter until its closing. Harlin was a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jo Durbin, a son, Harlin Nathaniel "Sandy" Durbin, Jr., and a brother, William Durbin. He is survived by a son: Kenneth Durbin of St. Lake City, Utah, 13 grandchildren 2 brothers, Bert Durbin & wife Nancy of Dewar Buddy Durbin & wife Mary Lou of Dewar 2 sisters, Norma Jean Crummett & husband Allen of Henryetta Alice Marie Durbin of Dewar As well as a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10:00 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service 410 E. Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
