Harold Lloyd Byrd

Harold Lloyd Byrd was born May 30, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas to Isam James Lewis Byrd, Sr. and Effie Marie (Farmer) Byrd. He passed away, Friday, June 12, 2009 in Dewar, Oklahoma at the age of 56. He was a professional cabinet finisher and contract painter. Harold was a longtime resident of Dewar and attended Dewar Public Schools. He is survived by his mother: Marie Byrd of the home in Dewar, brothers: Carl Byrd & wife Pat of Dewar, Troy Byrd of Henryetta, Charles Byrd & wife Shiela of Henryetta,3 sisters: Dona Byrd Powell & husband George Wayne of Dewar, Kathy Byrd Doyle & husband Craig of Eldon, Missouri, Vanessa Byrd Knight & husband Rick of Oklahoma City, 1 daughter: Melissa Byrd of Pleasant Valley, 1 son Jade Cummings of Pleasant Valley, 5 grandchildren: Coburn Cummings of Pleasant Valley, Damon Mouss of Henryetta, Auburn Rose, Alice Lynn Potts & Richard Zeke Potts. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Harold is preceded in death by his father Isam James Lewis Byrd, Sr., 2 brothers: Isam James Lewis "Jimmy" Byrd, Jr., & Michael Byrd. Also his maternal grandparents, Charles & Dora Patton Farmer, his paternal grandparents, Tom W. & Reva Goodin Byrd. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at New Sonora Cemetery with Rev. Casey McIntosh & Troy Farmer, officiating.
