Harvey Timmie Gilroy, Sr.

Harvey Timmie "Al" Gilroy, Sr., a longtime resident of Henryetta was born August 10, 1942 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Clemon Joseph Gilroy and Hepsey Randall Gilroy. Harvey passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67. Harvey worked for many years in the construction business and was a member of Randall Indian Baptist Church. Harvey was a former member of the Creek Nation Counsel and he was a member of the Okmulgee County Cattlemen's Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clemon & Hepsey Gilroy and his first wife Ramona Durbin Gilroy. He is survived by four children: Harvey Timmie Gilroy, Jr. of Okmulgee Joseph Gilroy & wife Lisa of Morris Michael Gilroy, Sr. & wife Deana of Henryetta Melanie Hogan & husband Pete of Morris Grandchildren: Trevor Gilroy & Kristin Gilroy of Morris Kennedie Gilroy of Broken Arrow Michael Shannon Gilroy, Jr., Cody Lane, Colby Sha Gilroy, Blane Lawson, Alan Farrow, Roper Farrow, Page Pense, & Brooklyn Hogan 1 brother: Charles Joseph Gilroy & wife Arleta Ann of Collinsville 3 sisters: Melissa Seifried of Tulsa Wanda Morrison & husband Bill of Santa Fe, New Mexico Norma Jimerson of Irvine, California Friend and companion, Karen Helms Mother of Melanie, Gloria Gilroy, As well as nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Pallbearers will be: Chris Linley, Vince Williams, Cliff McKinney, Fred Adams, Danne Spurlock, Pete Hogan, Bob Miller & Wilbert Lowe. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dale Donathan, Marvin White, Harvey Hudson, Doby Newsom, James Jenkins, and Danny Withrow. Viewing will be from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2010 and from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Integrity Funeral Service (410 East Trudgeon St. Henryetta, OK) .Wake services will be held 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Randall Indian Baptist Church near Wilson, Oklahoma. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Wilson School Gymnasium with Rev. Mark Milligan & Rev. Timmie Lowe, officiating. Interment will follow at Randall Family Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
