Haskel Dale Williamson

Haskel Dale Williamson, a longtime resident of Weleetka, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 83. Dale was born on June 28, 1930 in rural McIntosh county to William Burl Williamson and Margaret Idella Horton Williamson. Dale grew up in the Hanna and Weleetka areas, and as a youngster attended Oak Hill School. Following his education, Dale went to work as a laborer working in cotton fields and harvesting peanut crops. Dale met the love of his life, Lavada Idadean Middleton. They were happily married for 59 years and 8 months before her death on May 1, 2010. Dale and Lavada spent time in Arizona working crops in that area as well before returning to Oklahoma and settling in the Weleetka area. Dale loved fishing, hunting, and trapping. He especially enjoyed gardening with Lavada and any time spent in the company of his family. He has been the strength of his family and an outstanding example of a good life lived. Dale was a member of the Allen Freewill Baptist Church. Dale is preceded in death by his wife Lavada, his mother and father, by four brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his son, Ricky Williamson and wife Brenda of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Sharon Coleman of Henryetta and Donna White and husband Terry of Henryetta; eight grandchildren, Tonya Cantrell and husband Richard of Broken Arrow, Jamie Diggins and husband Chuck of Weleetka, Kristi Richison and husband Brett of Jenks, Rachael Rayburn of Henryetta, Tamara Cashman and husband Shane of Henryetta, Christopher Rayburn of Henryetta, Ryan White of Henryetta, and Taylor Williamson of Oklahoma City; 11 great grandchildren, Kristyn Diggins, Trenton Cantrell, Trevor Cantrell, Mason Martin, Dylan Rayburn, Gaje McDaniel, Noah White, Colt White, Madalynn Cashman, Tyler Richison, and Lexi Richison; several other extended family and many good friends. A Celebration of Dale's life is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Christopher Rayburn, Ryan White, Chuck Diggins, Brett Richison, Shane Cashman, Taylor Williamson, and Richard Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale's great grandsons. They are Trenton Cantrell, Trevor Cantrell, Mason Martin, Dylan Rayburn, Gaje McDaniel, Tyler Richison, Noah White and Colt White.
