Haskell Ray Hammontree, 72, passed away on October 21, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on March 10, 1940 in Hanna, Ok to Herbert and Lou Edith Hammontree. He grew up in Hanna, and graduated from Hanna High School before attending Hills Business College in Oklahoma City. Haskell married Edna Lou Sweeney on January 25, 1963 in Denver, Colorado. He worked in Oil Field Trucking Industry Hauling for over 40 years, starting at BF Walker, Arrow Trucking, Turner Bros. Trucking and eventually as owner of Pacesetter Trucking Company until his retirement in 2000. In addition to his trucking company Haskell owned a registered Herford cattle ranch in Hanna, Oklahoma. He was involved in numerous cattle associations, both in Oklahoma and Nationally. He was an active member of St Michael's Catholic Church in Henryetta, Ok, serving on the Parish Council. He is survived by his wife Edna of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter and son-in-law Larry and Annmarie Brown of Cleveland, Ok, daughter and son-in-law Victor and Sue Perez of Tulsa, Ok and son Michael Hammontree of Kansas City Missouri, grandchildren, Matthew and Andrea Brown, Laura Brown, Phillip, Amanda and Adam Perez. His brother and sister-in-law Leon and Carolyn Hammontree of Sperry, Ok, sister-in-law Sandy Hammontree of Hanna, OK numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his mother, father, and brother Maxie. Viewing will be Tuesday, October 23rd from 5-630pm at Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta Oklahoma, followed by a rosary at Saint Michaels Catholic Church at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 am at Saint Michaels, burial at Hanna, Ok. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
