She was born August 16, 1938 in Okmulgee, OK to Luther Randolph & Viola (Johnson). She married Lowell Dean Best on July 4, 1957 in Reno, Nevada. She was preceded in death by infant son Michael Dean Best, her parents, A brothers, Gene Randolph, and by her grandson, Tony Randolph. JoAnn is survived by her husband Lowell Dean Best of the home, 2 daughters, Mary Thompson & husband Darren of Eufaula, Debbie Best of Eufaula, Son Ronald Dean Best Grandchildren, Dalton Thompson, Randy Hirsch, April Wisman, and Troy Wisman, Great-grandchildren, Abbie Lyn Hirsch, and Logan Chandler, Four brothers, Melvin Blondell, Fred Randolph & wife Peggy, Don Lenave & wife Shirley, Eddie Randolph Three sisters, Joy Potter & husband Curly, Emma Walker, and Peggy Smith, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, April 6 and from 1-8 pm on Sunday, April 7 at Shurden Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2013 at Shurden Chapel with Rex Walcher, officiating. Interment will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
