Ida Otelia Vancleave

Ida Otelia VanCleave a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 94. She was born September 21, 1918 in Paden, OK to Lee Crosby & Josie (Collins). Ida was a member of the Church of Christ in Henryetta. She was a giver, she took care of everyone in her life. Ida is preceded in death by her husband Fred VanCleave, one daughter, Patsy Gilliland, one grandson, Freddie Gilliland, her parents, Josie and Lee Crosby, 2 brothers, HD Crosby and CL Crosby, 2 sisters, Iva Pyle and Lavada Dionne. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Janet Shoaf & husband Glenn of Beggs, Oklahoma, Mary Renner & husband Jim of Henryetta, Debbie Allison & husband Ben of Broken Arrow, and Chris VanCleave of Henryetta, her son-in-law, Ed Gilliland of Henryetta, sister-in-law, Fern Crosby of Odessa, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chuck Edmonds, Jimmie Gilliland, Eddie Gilliland, Paul Allison, Jason Arsee, and Ray Arsee. The family wishes to express that if you would like to make donations in honor of Ida, to please do so to the Church of Christ Food Bank. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ in Henryetta with Rex Walcher and Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
