Imogene Whitlock

March 20, 1952 — January 12, 2021

Imogene Whitlock, a resident of Okmulgee passed away Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 in Tulsa at the age of 68. She was born March 20th, 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona to Frank Pierce Jones and Sarah Imal (LaFerry) Jones.

Imogene completed her nursing degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse working in many hospitals, health department and various other medical venues. She married Steve Whitlock April 4, 1980 in Sherman, Texas.

Imogene loved to read and dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Imal Jones, a sister, Louise Madsen, brothers, William Coy Jones & Frank Jones, sisters, Elaine Jones & Betty Jones.

She is survived by her husband Steve of the home in Okmulgee;
Six children, Travis Tipton & wife Kristen of Branson, Missouri;
Mandy Vance & husband Billy Jack of Wilson;
Jamie Estrada of Okmulgee;
Kayla R. Whitlock of the home;
Kalli Whitlock of Sapulpa;
Nathan Whitlock of Dewar;
Sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and three on the way;
One brother, Ray Jones of Porum;
Two sisters, Virginia Barton of Henryetta;
Yvonne McLaughlin of Henryetta;
A brother-in-law, Gerald Madsen of Warner;
A god-daughter, Layia Keim.
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

At Imogene's request, the casket will remain closed. However, friends are encouraged to stop and sign the register book and view the memorial video from 6-8pm Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 15th, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka with Rev. Kyle Clark officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
