Iva Irene Grigsby

Iva Irene Grigsby, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 88. She was born March 20, 1927 in Blanchard, OK to Leroy Soloman & Ella Mae (Thompson) Soloman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Grigsby, sister, Freda Norman, and brother, Willie Soloman. Irene is survived by her 11 children, Norma Grigsby & husband Ross Padgett of Henryetta; Carolyn Edwards & husband Larry of Henryetta; Harvey Grigsby & wife Linda of Checotah; Andrew Giboney of Checotah; James (Grigsby) Graham of Vinita; Johnny (Grigsby) Graham of Okmulgee; Roy Lee (Grigsby) Ivey of Duncan; Daniel Grigsby of Sallisaw; Chester Grigsby, Lily Mae Grigsby, and Patricia Grigsby, 28 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9am-noon on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Integrity Funeral Service. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
