Jackie Larae Miller

Jackie LaRae Miller , a resident of Schulter, passed away July 19, 2013 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 45 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Saturday, June 29, 1968 in Pawhuska, OK to Richard Cole & Cassie Kanatzer. As a young girl, Jackie lived in Hominy. She later moved to Schulter and Okmulgee, where she attended school. Following school Jackie worked in the restaurant industry and she worked briefly for her uncle's electrical business. Jackie enjoyed camping and fishing and time spent with her family. She was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher. Jackie is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; by her mother-in-law, Cilestine Miller; and by her father-in-law, Henry T. Miller. She is survived by her husband, Henry A. Miller of the home in Schulter; two step-sons, Shane Miller and wife Becky of Tulsa and Curt Weeks, Jr. of Twin Falls, ID; 3 daughters, Julie Hewitt of Tulsa, Jennifer Miller of Schulter, and Mary Kathleen Miller; by her mother, Cassie Harlan and husband John of Okmulgee; her sister, Elizabeth Schuyler & husband Richard of Lamar, OK; her brother, Jay Gallaton & wife Heather, of Columbia, MO; by 5 nieces, Stacy Schuyler of Lamar, Richal Schuyler of Lamar, Tiffany Halford of Tulsa, Brook Johnson of Tulsa, and Addie Gallaton of Columbia, MO; as well as other extended family and many good friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00am at the Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Barton officiating. Burial will follow immediately under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta. Viewing and visitation will be on Wednesday from noon until 8pm and on Thursday, from 8am to 8pm. The family has designated the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 E. 56th Street, 8th floor, New York, NY 10022 as appropriate for memorial contributions.
