James Edward Bush

Henryetta resident James Edward Bush passed from this life on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in a Tulsa hospital at the age of 53. He was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on May 31, 1957 to Roland Bush and Marjorie Liles Bush. James grew up in California and lived on a farm, where he was introduced as a youngster to raising goats. As a young man, he worked as a salesman and a delivery person for the Yellow Page Directory company. He also spent several years working in the pipeline business. James returned to Oklahoma in 2008. He loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing. James is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by a daughter, Kim Bush of Henryetta; 2 grandchildren, Andrea and Hayden Bush of Henryetta; his father, Roland Bush of Texas; his mother, Marjorie Bush of Eufaula; a sister, Debbie Bush of Texas; a brother, Donnie Bush of Texas; a nephew, Tony Liles of Texas; a very good friend, Jerry Brashears of Dewar; and good friends, Bryan and Kathy Harper of California. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dewar on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:30a.m. with Rev. Jack Vance offficiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
