James Michael Giles

James Michael Giles, a resident of Checotah, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 near Checotah, OK at the age of 23. He was born September 7, 1991 in Dallas, TX to James Ray Giles & Paula (Day) Giles. Michael had an infectious smile and enjoyed making people laugh, he also loved the outdoors and fishing. He loved and adored his two little girls dearly. He went to Weleetka Public Schools where he enjoyed playing football for the Weleetka Outlaws and was a Weleetka High School graduate in 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Giles; a nephew, Joel Lollis; and his brother-in-law, Rocky Lollis, and by his stepfather, James Joseph "JJ" Sweeney. Michael is survived by his two children, Naomey Giles and Arabella Giles of Weleetka, his mother Paula Giles of Checotah, sister, Stephanie Sullivan of Henryetta, sister, Laura Lollis of Morris, sister, Amanda Giles of Corpus Christy, TX, brother, Ben Giles of Checotah, mother of his children, Julia Ritter of Weleetka, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2:00pm at Integrity Chapel (410 E. Trudgeon St.) in Henryetta with Rev. Michael VanMeter, officiating. Interment will follow at Endtime Revival Church Cemetery south of Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
