James Lane Hudson

James L. "Jimmy" Hudson, a resident of Henryetta passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79. He was born October 25th, 1942 in Henryetta to James H. Hudson & Pauline (Lane) Hudson.

Jimmy married Betsy Beal May 27th, 1967 at First Baptist Church in Henryetta.

He was a proud veteran serving as Lt. Commander, retired, in the United States Navy. After retiring from the Navy he began working for the U.S. Postal service and did so until he retired from there. He also worked in appliance and electronics repair in the Henryetta area for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James H. Hudson & Pauline Hudson, his in-laws, Sidney Beal & Helen Beal.

He is survived by his wife Betsy of the home;
Four children, James Lane "Jimmy" Hudson II & wife Lorna of Oklahoma City;
Sydni Elizabeth Prince & husband Dr. John Prince of Devalls Bluff, Arkansas;
John David Hudson of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts;
Matthew Stephen Hudson & wife Teri of Edmond;
Three grandchildren; James Robert Hudson of Oklahoma City;
Mattix Hudson of Edmond;
Sarah Hudson of Edmond;
Also by a host of friends and acquaintances.

Those serving as pallbearers are, Jimmy Hudson, Matthew Hudson, John Hudson, Dr. John Prince, James Hudson, & Mattix Hudson.

Viewing for Jimmy will be from 4 - 6 pm Sunday, December 12th at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 13th, 2021 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery with military honors presented by the United States Navy Honors Team. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
