James Swatsenbarg, resident of Joplin, MO, passed away at his home in Joplin on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the age of 49. James was born on August 17, 1965 in Symrna, Tennessee. He was the son of Finnis Russell Swatsenbarg and Mary Head Swatsenbarg. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother- Mary Head Swatsenbarg, father- Finnis Russell Swatsenbarg, sister- Rustina Dawn Adams. He is survived by three sisters, Sandra Lamkin and husband Tom from Little Rock, Arkansas, Mary and husband Ty Davis from Okmulgee, OK, Jessica High and husband John Vernon from Stone Bluff and one special cousin whom is more like a sister, Vicky Bashew and husband David from Tulsa, OK. Lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. James touched the loves of many people. He had a great love of country living and music. Some of his best times were around a bonfire with people he loved. James will be forever remembered by his family and friends, along with countless others whom were blessed to have known him. Services will be held at the Wilson Baptist Church 8849 Chestnut Road, Henryetta (Wilson) Oklahoma at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 6th 2015.
