Janet Sue Winfrey

Janet "Sue" Lawson Winfrey, a longtime resident of Henryetta was born July 26, 1941 in Canute, Oklahoma to William Zachary Nelson Lawson and Easter Lilly (Smith) Lawson. She passed away December 13, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 69. She was a homemaker and a loving mother to her children and grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three children: Peggy Boswell & husband Larry of Henryetta James Vincent & wife Susan of Okmulgee Tracey Hurt & husband Michael of Okmulgee 11 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren 1 brother: Garland D. Lawson & wife Delores of Henryetta 5 sisters: Mary Brock & husband A.V. of Okemah Faye Rogers of Henryetta Anne Coldwell & husband Woody of Kansas City, Missouri Jeannie Gibson of Georgia Donna Capps of Paden As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Pallbearers will be; Kevin McCrory, Nathan McCrory, Michael Hurt, Christopher Cummings, Larry Cummings, & Wesley McCrory. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Lawson & Ian Vincent. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson Community. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
