Janie Dee Kaler, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Okmulgee at the age of 64. Janie was born to Mary (Cook) and Clarence Slane on October 11, 1946 in Henryetta.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Johnny Kaler, sisters, Sandy Coffman and Perry Underwood, brothers, Clarence Slane, John R. Slane, and Billy D. Slane.
Janie is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda Melton of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Janie Porske of Beggs,
2 sons, Rocky Story & his wife Sissy of Henryetta,
and Steve Story & wife Tammy of Henryetta,
9 grandchildren, Janell Porske, Bobby Summers, John Summers, Richard Porske, Christopher Summers, Timothy Porske, Nicki Story, Quinton Story, and Miracle Story,
7 great-grandchildren,
brother, Eddie Slane & wife Lola of Hanna,
sister, Anne Molet & husband Pat of Oklahoma City,
brother, Steve Slane of Hanna,
brother, Jackie Slane & wife Darcy of Seattle, Washington,
brother, Charles Slane & wife Kathy of Georgia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
