Janis Sue Thompson

Janis Sue Thompson, a resident of Hitchita, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home in Hitchita, OK at the age of 74. She was born December 11, 1945 in Henryetta, OK to Clifford Overturff & Ora Lee (Jones).

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Thompson, daughter, Tammy Renee Thompson, grandson, Emery Ansel Bayens, granddaughter, Aubrey Thompson, mother, Ora Lee Jones and father, Clifford Overturff.

Janis is survived by her children,
Russell Thompson & wife Michelle of Baker, California,
Anita Thompson of the home,
John Robert Thompson of Chickasha,
Rhonda Makerney of Durant,
siblings; Elsie Warren of Texas,
Clifford Overturff of Washington,
and Richard Kelley of Oklahoma City,
grandchildren: Lacy Thompson, Lucas Neff, Jeremy Howk, Derek Simmer, Tiara Simmer, Michiah Simmer, Corey Thompson, Kaitlyn Thompson, Audri Johnson, Mercades Thompson, and John Michael Thompson,
great grandchildren; Sophia Marie Bayens, Ian Howk, Bentlee Pitchford, Daxton Simmer, Peyton Jackson, Sage Jackson, and Creed Thompson.
As well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 2-8pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Hitchita Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
