Jerry D. Ellingsworth

Jerry D. Ellingsworth passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Okemah at the age of 86. He was born on February 19, 1939 in Stone County, Missouri to Rev. O.A. Ellingsworth and Stella (Hammond) Ellingsworth.

He spent his childhood and most of his adult life in California. He married Louise Stacy in April of 1964. Together they found two boys under a rock and called them their sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. O. A. Ellingsworth and Stella Ellingsworth, one brother, Rev. Paul Ellingsworth, two brothers-in-law, Rev. Floyd Newman. and Rev. Raymond Stacy, and one sister-in-law, Joann Ellingsworth.

He is survived by his two sons, Carey Ellingsworth and wife Sheryl of Morris, OK, and Kelvin Ellingsworth of Henryetta, four grandchildren; Alicia Delana, Amanda Martin, Brittany Webb, and Kelvin Ellingsworth Jr., three step-grandchildren, Josh Bergesen, Matthew Bergesen, Tanna Bergesen, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers, Rev. L.D. Ellingsworth, of Holdenville, Oklahoma and Carol Dee Ellingsworth & wife Carol of Stockton, California, sisters; Betty Jo Newman (wife of Floyd) of Diggens, Missouri, and Treva Stacy (wife of Raymond) of Frisco, Texas, one sister-in-law, Della Ellingsworth (wife of Paul) of Chillicothe, Missouri, as well as a host of loved nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers are his nephews, Bryan Newman, Darren Newman, Andrew Newman, Anthony Newman, and Brandon Newman, and grandson, Kelvin Ellingsworth Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers are Gavin Ellingsworth, Riley Martin and Braxton Delana.

Viewing will be from 4-7 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025 with family present to greet friends from 5-7 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Terry Newman, officiating and Rev. Doug Ellingsworth, assisting. Interment will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery in Okemah. Services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
