Jerry Roosevelt Lowe

Jerry Roosevelt Lowe, a resident of rural Checotah, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at his home near Checotah at the age of 77. He was born November 3, 1936 in Claremore, OK to Albert Chastain Lowe & Linnie Zula (Richards) Lowe. Jerry proudly served during Vietnam in the US Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Jerry Landon Lowe, and Timothy Ryan Lowe, one great grandson, Ross Aiden Allen Dallas, 4 brothers, Hickmon McIntosh, Joe Lloyd Lowe, Samuel Albert Lowe, and Tommy Ray Lowe, one sister, Ida Hughes Taylor. Jerry is survived by his wife Regenia Lowe of the home, son, Tad Eugene Lowe & wife LeaAnn of Dickerson, Texas, Shannon Terrell & husband Timothy Milgate of Collinsville, Ok, daughter, Tamara Ann Grimes & husband Billy of Enid, daughter, Connie Lynn Dallas of Dewar, son, Russell Ellis Lowe & wife Karen of Inola, son, Tod Gerald Lowe & wife Debbie of Sand Springs, daughter, Tressa DeAnn Deatherage & husband Larry of Broken Arrow, sister, Dorcas Tiger of Tiger Mountain, sister, Abby Davis of Dewar, 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:00PM at Silver Spring Cemetery on Tiger Mountain. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
