Jerry Taber

Jerry Taber, a resident of Dewar passed away Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 in Vinita, Oklahoma at the age of 75. He was born May 4, 1949 in Henryetta to Troy Taber and Mary (Dixon) Taber. He was a graduate of Dewar High School, class of 1967. He worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and go fishing and mostly deer hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy Taber, a brother, Ricky Taber, sister-in-law DD Taber, brother-in-law Butch Turner and nephews, Buddy Turner, and Brad Turner.

He is survived by a son, Cass Taber & wife Johna of Vinita;

granddaughter, Callie Taber of Vinita;

sister, Brenda Turner of Dewar;

brother, Stony Hal Taber of Okmulgee;

sister-in-law, Pam Taber of McCloud;

an aunt, Leona Dixon of Tecumseh;

also by a host of friends and relatives;

A memorial will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Integrity Chapel. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
