Jill Annette (Polston) Coleman passed from this life on December 8, 2018 in Henryetta at the age of 59. Jill was born in Henryetta to Don Polston and Jeannie Harkins Polston. Jill's father Don was a highway patrolman, and she moved with her family to Wagner, OK where they lived for approximately 3 years and then they moved to El Reno for approximately a year. The Polston family moved to Okmulgee where Jill attended school and graduated from Okmulgee High School. Following high school, Jill attended OSU Okmulgee for several semesters.
Jill worked for approximately 20 years at Kelco in Okmulgee as a lab technician. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist. Everywhere Jill ever lived she had beautiful gardens which she manicured with great care and attention. She was an avid collector of antique glass and she loved visiting antique stores and estate sales to search out her treausres. Most of all, Jill was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her.
Jill is preceded in death by her father, Don Polston; her maternal grandparents, Belle and Rudy Harkins; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Maxine Polston.
She is survived by her son, Blake Coleman of Okmulgee; her mother, Jeannie Polston of Henryetta; her sister, Julie Dill of El Reno, OK; her two brothers, Mike Polston of Henryetta and Chip Polston of Hudson, FL; a very special granddaughter, Charlie Dawn Coleman of Henryetta; by several nieces and nephews including Daniel Dill, Justin Dill, Marissa Stuckey, Chase Polston, "Coby" Polston, Sami Lewis, Mayson Mathieu, and Joe Polston; an aunt, Janet VanMeter of Henryetta; two great aunts, Leda Pierce of Tulsa and Doris Camp of Arizona; several cousins, Joni VanMeter, Janna VanMeter, and Brent VanMeter; and uncles Tom Harkins, Don Harkins, and Ken Polston; by other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 2pm until 8pm at Integrity Funeral Service.
A funeral service for Jill will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at The First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Kiner officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Dill, Justin Dill, Marissa Stuckey, Samantha Lewis, Mason Mathieu, and Chris Whitlow.
