Jimmy Ingram, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Henryetta, Oklahoma on July 28, 2023. Born in the same town on April 23, 1954, Jimmy spent his entire life in Henryetta, making countless memories and leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jimmy was a man of many talents and interests. Professionally, he dedicated many years of his life as an X-ray technician. His adventurous spirit and creativity were often on display, whether he was at work or enjoying his leisure time.
He was an member of the Salem Baptist Church, and the Sasquatch Chronicles.
Jimmy was a family man at heart. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Helen Ingram. Jimmy was also a proud father to four daughters; Barbara Johnson and husband Bryan of Porter, Texas; Stacey Jennings and husband Donald of Alvin, Texas; Amy Clayton and husband James of Pearland, Texas; and Jamie Mattox and husband Chris of Henryetta. His love for his children was only surpassed by his adoration for his eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jimmy is also survived by his brother, Ray Ingram of Braggs, and his sister, Virgie Ingram of Henryetta. His family was his world, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Jimmy's passing is also mourned by a host of friends and other relatives who were blessed to know him.
Jimmy Ingram was more than just the sum of his interests, his work, or his family ties. He was a man who lived his life to the fullest, always seeking out new adventures and ways to express his creativity. He was known for his friendly nature, always ready with a smile and a kind word for everyone he met. His adventurous spirit was infectious, inspiring those around him to seek out their own adventures. His creativity was evident in everything he did, from his work to his hobbies, to the way he solved problems and faced challenges.
In his passing, we remember not just the facts of Jimmy's life, but the way he lived it. His legacy will live on in the lives of his loved ones and in the countless lives he touched during his time with us. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the life of a man who truly made the world a better place.
Jimmy Ingram will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us. His laughter, his love for his family, and his zest for life will forever be a part of our hearts.
