Jimmy G. Stacy

Jimmy Grover Stacy, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, in Tulsa at the age of 78. He was born May 27, 1942, in Pharoah, Oklahoma delivered to Elmer and Mildred (Sanders) Stacy by his grandmother, Lily Dearman Stacy.

In 2002, he married the love of his life, Linda (Susie) Darlene Grimes, who predeceased him by one year, one month and one day.

Jim was blessed with mechanical knowledge and there was nothing he could not fix. He worked for many years at Mack Truck, and Sun Oil Company in Tulsa before opening J & L Diesel in 1983. After retirement in 2009, he could not sit still so he traveled when he could, and bought and sold anything to make a dollar. He enjoyed being on a tractor whether baling hay or brush hogging.

Jim will be remembered for his love for God and family, work ethic, kindness, generosity, friendship, and helping hand. He strongly believed in forgiveness and second chances.

He was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Grimes Stacy; his parents, Elmer and Mildred Stacy; two brothers, Tim Stacy and Leroy Stacy; and a sister, Linda Stacy.

Trina Waltman and husband Kevin of Bixby;
Phillip Stacy of Henryetta;
Jason Stacy of Tulsa;
Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren;
Brothers and sisters,
Rev. Kenneth Stacy and wife Barbara of Victoria, Mississippi;
Rev. Jerry Stacy and wife Deb of Seminole;
Clifford Stacy and wife Debbie of Sapulpa;
Louise Kempton of Henryetta;
Kathy Booze and husband Gary of Jenks;
June Lewis of Glenpool;
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Stacy, Jason Stacy, Kevin Waltman, Dylan Waltman, Mercedez Waltman and Allie Trout. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Jerry Stacy, Rev. Kenny Stacy and Clifford Stacy.

Viewing will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday July 29th at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30th, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Matthew Martin and Rev. Rick Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Duck Creek Cemetery in Liberty Mounds under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
