JoAnn Tyler, a resident of Dewar, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75. She was born to Clarence Dodson & Lillian (Rogers) Dodson on November 16, 1936 in Salem, Oklahoma. JoAnn was an active member of the Okemah House of Prayer where she served as secretary/treasurer. She was involved in the women's Auxillary & the Henryetta VFW Post 539. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Lillian Dodson, her husband Curtis E. Tyler Sr. and a brother Bobby Gene Dodson. JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Debra Brown & husband Darrell of Dewar, 2 sons, Curtis Tyler Jr. & wife Alene of Mabank, Texas, and Randall Campbell & wife Sherry of Okmulgee, she leaves behind 18 grandkids and 40 great grandkids, brother, Clarence Dodson Jr. & wife Sharon of Dustin, sister Deverly Nuckolls & husband Garland of Schulter, as well as numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Earvin Campbell, Ronnie Campbell, Lee Dobson, Glenn West, Chris Tyler, and Shelby Dodson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua Thompson, James Nuckolls. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Shurden Chapel (411 W. Division St.) with Rev. Barney Gibson, officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
