John LeRoy Bryant

John LeRoy Bryant, 75 of Schulter, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Schulter, Oklahoma. He was born on September 8, 1949 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to John Lee and Mina Violetta (Hantz) Bryant.

After graduating from high school, John joined the US Army and served as a cook at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for almost 2 years before being honorably discharged. John worked in the Oil Field as a laborer for many years before his retirement. John was a hard worker always staying busy and enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading and spending time with family. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

John is preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Hardy Bryant and two sisters, Elaine Smith and Sandy Bright.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Shanda Chasteen and husband Wyatt of Schulter, Oklahoma, Josh Bryant of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Johnnale Sparks of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Sister, Linda Waters of Schulter, Oklahoma and a nephew, Gary Lee Bright of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Also, by a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
