Coach John Addison Walker, age 58 of Morris, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 following his courageous fight with cancer.
John was born on November 26, 1963 to the late Charles and Doris Walker. John was known for making every person he encountered feel like the most important person there was. His listening ear and positive encouragement will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife Kristy Walker of the home;
His children, John Cody Walker and wife Callie of Ada;
Alexis "Lou" Stokes and husband Taylor of Ada;
Abby Walker of Morris;
His three grandchildren, Cutter Duke Walker, Doc Addison Stokes, and Case Drake Walker;
His brothers and sisters, Steve Walker and wife Kathy of Ada;
David Walker and wife Dena of Galveston, Texas;
Susie Chowins and husband Ted of Henryetta;
Mary Stephens and husband Buddy of Dewar;
Along with many other dear loved ones and friends.
Viewing for John will be from noon until 6pm Friday, July 22, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service.
A Rosary will be held at 6pm Friday at Integrity Chapel.
Mass of Resurrection will be conducted on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church in Okmulgee with Fr. Joshua Litwak officiating. Interment will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson Community under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Okmulgee Humane Society is requested.
