John Henry Williamson

John Henry Williamson, a resident of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, November 3, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 69. John was born on February 16, 1945 in Tiger Mountain, Oklahoma to Alva Frank Williamson and Mabel Hobock Williamson. John was raised on Tiger Mountain and attended school in that area. He served several years with the U.S. Army before returning home. He worked for several years for Ford Motor Company doing automotive paint and body work. Several years following, John created his own garage business where he continued doing paint and body work. John later spent many years cutting lumber and fire wood. John is preceded in death by his mother and father; four sisters, Loraine Garber Williamson, Billie Ruth Sisson, Charlene Ashley, and Mildred Sandavol; two brothers, Roy Williamson and Jack Williamson; and an infant son, James Arnold Williamson. He is survived by his life partner, June Drake of the home in Eufaula; a son, Jonathan Lewis Bennett of Henryetta; two daughters, Della Thompson of Beggs and Cathy McLeland of Henryetta; two sisters, Alta Scales and husband Paul of Sapulpa, OK; and Mary Jo Beal of Sapulpa; a nephew, David Williamson and wife Maria of Thornton, CO; several grandchildren and other extended family; and many good friends. Viewing for John will be held at Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from noon until 5:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10:00am at Pierce Cemetery with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Burial will follow immediately under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
