Julius (Jerry) Mitcham

January 2, 1941 — May 7, 2017

Julius Jerome (Jerry) Mitcham, a resident of rural Henryetta passed away Sunday, May 7th, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 76. He was born January 2, 1941 in Pinebluff, Arkansas to Vernon Mitcham and Bertha (Robertson) Mitcham.

Jerry finished his education as a Certified Public Accountant working for many years in hospital management and accounting. He was very proud of serving our country and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Valley of Jonesboro Masonic Lodge, A & A Scottish Rite of Freemasonary, and Dewar First Baptist Church.

He married Marsha Henderson on October 22, 1983 at First Baptist Church in Henryetta.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Bertha Mitcham, a brother, Carrol Mitcham and a sister, Ann Patvin.

He is survived by his wife Marsha Mitcham of the home;
One son, Timothy Mitcham & wife Tina of Boynton;
Two grandchildren, Jonathan & Madalyn Mitcham of Boynton;
One sister, Joy Pettijohn & husband Bob of Austin, Texas;
One brother, James Vernon Mitcham of Little Rock, Arkansas;
As well as his "Henderson" clan who he loved dearly, also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be from 5-8pm Wednesday, 8-8pm Thursday, 8-12pm Friday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Kenneth Montgomery, Bill Henderson, Bruce Henderson, Jerry Henderson, David Henderson & Mike Gizzi. Honorary pallbearers will be, Kenneth Powders, Gaston Hall, Glen Shoaf & Buddy Lassiter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance & Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
