Kathy Alice Pannell, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at her home in Henryetta at the age of 58. She was born June 15, 1951 in Henryetta, OK to Roland and Maxine Morris. Kathy attended Wilson schools in grade school and high school. She went on to attend nursing school in Okmulgee, OK where she became an LPN. While working as a nurse, Kathy attended Seminole State College in Seminole, OK and East Central State College in Ada, OK graduating with a Bachelors degree in social work. She was employed as a case manager with John Lilley Correctional Center in Boley, OK, before retiring. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Roland H Morris and Maxine Conley and her brother Alvin Morris. She is survived by her husband, Robert Pannell of the home. Five sons, Kenny Britt and wife Leyah of Henryetta, Randy Britt and wife Rachel of Morris, Tommy Britt and wife Djuana of Henryetta, Steve Britt and wife Christy of Dewar and Kevin Britt and wife Jennifer of Dewar. Fourteen grandchildren, Kristine Britt and husband Joe Pennington, Tyler Britt, Jessica Britt, Austin Britt, Kaylee Britt, Kyle Britt, Trevor Britt, Logan Britt, Tanner Britt, Kelsey Britt, Phoenix Britt, Kade Britt, Gracie Britt and Gryphon Britt. Two great-grandchildren Kanyon Pennington and Bristal Britt. Sister Marlene Morris of Tulsa and Brother Doyle Morris of Okmulgee. Niece Christy Morris and Nephews Jeff Morris, Brian Morris, Greg Morris, Michael Morris, Wayne Morris, Justin Morris and Alvin Morris. Pallbearers will be Kathy's grandsons: Tyler Britt, Austin Britt, Kyle Britt, Trevor Britt, Logan Britt and Tanner Britt. Honorary Pallbearers are grandson Kade Britt and granddaughters Kristine Britt, Jessica Britt, Kaylee Britt, Kelsey Britt, Phoenix Britt, Gracie Britt and Gryphon Britt. Funeral services for Kathy will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1:00pm at Tulledega Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Huckabay officiating. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
